Ultimate Checkers Championship

The short version

We collect as little as a game can. No email, no real name, no account signup, no advertising trackers. Online play uses an anonymous identifier, the display name you choose, and your match results. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. You can ask us to delete your online data at any time.

What we collect, and why

• Anonymous player ID. When you play online, we sign you in anonymously via Firebase Authentication (a service of Google LLC). This creates a random identifier — it is not your name, email, or Apple ID, and we never receive those.
• Display name. The nickname you choose in-game, shown to opponents in online matches.
• Gameplay data. Your rating (ELO), wins, games played, current match state, and matchmaking queue entries — stored in Firebase Realtime Database so online play works.
• Local data. Progress, settings, unlocked cosmetics and currencies are stored on your device only.

What we don't do

• No third-party advertising SDKs and no ad tracking.
• No sale of personal data, and no sharing beyond the service providers named here.
• No tracking across other companies' apps or websites; we do not use the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA).
• No collection of contacts, photos, location, or health data.

Purchases

In-app purchases (gem packs and cosmetic packs) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase entitlements are delivered by StoreKit and recorded on your device.

Service providers

Online features are powered by Google Firebase (Authentication and Realtime Database). Firebase processes the data described above on our behalf; Google's privacy documentation is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data retention & deletion

Online profile data is retained while you play. To delete it — your anonymous ID, display name, rating, stats and match history — email support@ultimatecheckers.app with your in-game display name and we'll remove it. Deleting the app removes all local data from your device.

Children

The game does not require accounts and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only user-provided data is a self-chosen display name; please choose one that doesn't reveal personal information.

Changes & contact

If our data practices change (for example, if opt-in rewarded videos are added via a third-party ad network in a future update), this policy will be updated first and the effective date revised.
